DIY Christmas Tree and Spiced Honey Ponche Recipe

An easy and fun handmade decoration.

What you need:
-Felt scraps
-Thin wire, approximately 10 inches (25.4cm)
-Yarn
-Wire cutters or heavy-duty scissors
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Una decoración hecha a mano fácil y divertida.

Lo que usted necesita:
-Retazos de fieltro
-Alambre delgado, aproximadamente 10 pulgadas (25,4 cm)
-Estambre
-Tijeras filosas

What you do:
1. Draw circles in the felt (3 different sizes)
2. Cut the felt into circles (4 circles of each size)
3. Bend your wire at one end, and slip the felt onto the wire by poking a hole through the center. Begin with largest circles first, and work your way up to the top, using smaller circles as you go.
4. Wrap a pom pom, bead or wood star at the top, and bend the wire around.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Lo que hay que hacer:
1. Dibujar círculos en el fieltro (3 tamaños diferentes)

and a little Christmas tree it's done!

are you craving a sweet drink?
Well I have an easy recipe for you!

SPICED HONEY PONCHE
Serves 4

Ingredients:

5 tbsp honey
2 lemons
1 piece ginger root, small
½ cup white rum
½ cup dark rum
½ cup velvet falernum (ingredients and instructions below)
½ cup soda water
Orange peel, for garnish

* For the velvet falernum:
8 almonds
1 piece ginger root, small
2 limes
3-4 drops vanilla
1 pinch cinnamon

Preparation:
Juice lemons with a lemon squeezer or in a juicer. Peel the ginger root, chop into small pieces, add the lemon juice and place into a juicer (if you do not have a lemon squeezer or juicer, slice the lemons in half and squeeze the juice out into a bowl. Add the ginger pieces and press down firmly with a spoon). Strain and pour into a separate mixing bowl (you can reduce the spiciness by adding 1 part water and 1 tsp honey until you reach the desired spiciness). Add remaining ingredients and velvet falernum. Stir. Add ice and serve.
* For the velvet falernum:
Crush the almonds. Juice ginger with lime juice (follow same procees as above). Add drops of vanilla extract and cinnamon. Once all of the ingredients are ready, pour mix into a blender on low to high speed. Strain. Store in the refrigerator.
...................and enjoy!

se les antoja una bebida dulce?
Bueno, tengo una receta fácil para ustedes!

SPICED HONEY PONCHE
Para 4 personas

Ingredientes:

5 cucharadas de miel
2 limones

* Para el falernum terciopelo:
8 almendras
Un pedazo de raíz de jengibre
2 limones

Revuelva. Agregar hielo y servir.
* Para el falernum terciopelo:
................ y disfrute!

Today I'm loving: my New York book and taking some notes of deli recipes from all the world!
I hope someday I can visit NY, and enjoy all the streets, coffee shops, restaurants, museums, rich history and a global population that makes New York city a fantastic an passionate city.
I love this book because it's more than food and recipes, it also shows you the history of New York through each of their cities, different kinds of population that lives there, traditions, types of food, all languages spoken, a NY map and attractions in general.....
